My Experience in Counselling

I have worked for two Drug and Alcohol organizations in Manchester as an active volunteer. It was at this point I was aware of the importance of being heard and understood and shortly after this experience I began my initial journey in to counselling and psychotherapy.


My experience includes working for various agencies ranging from mental health, drug and alcohol organizations, young people to working within a local GP practice. I have undertaken extensive training and my qualifications include:

* Currently studying for a PhD in Counselling.
* MA in Counselling Studies.
* Diploma in Counselling.
* Introduction to Gestalt Therapy Certificate.
* Transactional Analysis Certificate.

I have undertaken extensive training in counselling on a theoretical and practical basis. As part of my development as a counsellor, I attend various training days/Saturday schools, to increase the quality of my work. I am a member of the BACP [British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy] and work within their ethical framework

Although I am a counsellor based in Sale, South Manchester I can offer Psychotherapy services in South Manchester.
