Addiction can affect anyone young/old, rich/poor, black/white, male/female etc. No one is immune from it. Stopping something which has become an important part of your life can be described as a loss, a grieving process, which can be painful. Together, we can work through this however, there will be times when you are angry, frustrated, feel isolated, ‘not part of the crowd’. At times like this it is useful to talk to someone who can recognise those feelings and those emotions.
As a counsellor, I have the experience to help you and work through that process. By making the initial appointment, this will offer you the opportunity to find out if counselling is where you want to be. Click here to contact me.
